VACUUM COMPARISON FOR RECIPROCATING VACUUM PUMP OF SINGLE CYLINDER DOUBLE ACTING WITH SIGLE SUCTION AND DOUBLE SUCTION

Comparison of vacuum is made between the single and double suction vacuum pump, between the unit with balance passage and that without balance passage. The formula for vacuum is derived. It is concluded that the single suction double acting unit with balance passage is better than the double suction unit without balance passage.
