RESEARCHES ON THE TESTING METHOD OF THE SECONDARY ELECTRON EMISSION YIELD OF SPACE MATERIALS

The secondary electron emission yield of space materials is one of the important parameters relative to the spacecraft surface charging level, it is also important for prediction of satellite surface charging and selection of surface materials in the design against spacecraft charging.A special testing device for measuring the secondary electron emission yield of space materials is introduced, the structure and the performance and the technical parameters are briefly described,the methods of measurement and data analysis are also included.
