EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON HEAT TRANSFER CHARACTERISTIC OF POROUS MEDIA MATERIAL UNDER THE LOW TEMPERATURE

An experimental study on heat transfer characteristic of porous media material under the low temperature was introduced.It indicates that the low temperature maintaining time increases obviously after filling in the liquid nitrogen due to the participating of porous material which changes the heat transfer characteristic.The bundle of tubes model and a method of numerical simulation calculation with the whole temperature field distribution by using the finite element analysis software were recommended.The result accords with the experimental data.
