A NEW SOLAR SELECTIVE ABSORBING STRUCTURE OF FLEXIBLE Al-Al2O3 CERMET COMPOSITE COATINGS

  • We have studied the preparation of the flexible Al-AI2O3 cermet composite coatings deposited on the flexible kapton(PI)substrate prodUced by pulsed direct current(DC)magnetron spurtcring technique.From Kapton substrate to surtfaace,the complex coaings comprise an infrared reflective(IR)layer of AI,all interference absorptive layer of a graded AI-AI2O3 cermet,and an anti-reflective(AR)layer,of AI2O3.For these initial results of calculationst,he newsolar absorbing structure of flexible AI-AI2O3 cermet coatings was found to have the highest photo-thermal conversion efficiency.
