RESEARCH ON REVERSE-BOOTSTRAP AIR CYCLE REFRIGERATION SYSTEM DRIVEN BY HIGH-SPEED MOTOR

  • Two applications of high-speed motor driving technique used in air cycle refrigeration system, which called cantilever and compact components was introduced. Working theories of the reverse-bootstrap systems that use those two components were discussed. Performance parameters of reverse-bootstrap air cycle refrigeration system driven by low power high-speed motor were calculated. Experimental investigations were made. The results show that the system can provide a refrigerating output up to 2.5 kW. It′s a promising refrigeration system.
