INVESTIGATION FOR THE PURE GRAPHITE ABSORB METAL CESIUM

Through the experiment of the four sorts of graphite absorbing metal cesium, we analyze the phenomenon of the four different graphite that absorb metal cesium, and investigate the change of the different structure of the graphite after absorbing of cesium and the reason for it. Based on that, we get the conclusion that the high pure graphite as the sorbent in the cesium beam tube should have nicer capability of absorption of cesium. and better capability of machining. so one kind of the graphite is chose to be used in the cesium beam tube as the sorbent.
