GAS-COOLED CURRENT LEAD OF SUPERCONDUCTING MAGNETS

  • A kind of method is given up that calculate precisely the current lead’s shape factor and the heat loads which fluid into the cryostat. After the shape factor of the current lead is determined, an important task is to ascertain the section area, and then, with the shape factor to determine the length of current lead. The section area can be worked out according to relational formula of characteristic formula in the heat transfer. As an example, the structural dimension of the current lead made of brass is calculated in the last.
