  • The vacuum sintering of Ag—MgF2 cermet for film preparation has been studied.This paper reports the segregation of Ag constituent during the sintering process, the relation between void volume fraction, composition and sintering temperature. The fabrication condition ensuring the composition in Ag—MgF2 cermet system was obtained.
