MICROSTRUCTURE AND OPTICAL PROPERTIES OF Cu-MgF2 CERMET FILM

  • Cu-MgF2 cermet film was successfully prepared by vacuum vapor deposition technique.This paper reports the deposition technique,microstructure and optical properties of Cu-MgF2 cermet film.In 200 nm~800 nm range,the film has the very low reflectance of 1%~2.5%,exponentially decreased absorption,and transmittance which increases parabolically from 200 nm to 650 nm and reaches its maximum 46%at 650nm.Cu-MgF2 cermet films could be good candidates for anti-reflection layers or for solar energy transform devices.
