Abstract: In this paper,experiment of cool storage and discharging characteristics in ice storage system was studied.The ice storage system which water and borax solution were secondary refrigerant was studied.A set of parameters such as temperature changes in ice storage tank,COP changes in the system and temperature changes of secondary refrigerant were discussed as well.It obtained through the experimental analysis that a certain mass fraction of the borax solution is more beneficial to cool storage and discharging than the water in the ice storage system.
