模拟空间太阳能电池真空放电特性的研究

DISCHARGE CHARACTERISTICS OF ENGINEERING MODEL OF SPACE SOLAR ARRAYS

  • 摘要: 为了模拟空间太阳能电池阵的起始放电与真空度及间隙宽度的关系,在地面实验室中,不同真空度下对不同绝缘材料衬底的模拟空间太阳能电池片进行放电实验研究。研究结果表明,模拟空间太阳能电池起始放电Vf与真空度p及电池阵间隙宽度d有关,当p.d位于6~8(10-3mm.Pa)之间时,起始放电电压将出现极小值;衬底材料的电导率越大,起始放电极小值对应的间隙宽度越小。为研究太阳能电池阵结构的优化提供了一定的实验依据。

     

    Abstract: In a grounded space environment simulation vacuum chamber,experiments are carried out on engineering models(EM) of space solar arrays.We investigate the initial voltages of the primary electrostatic dischargings(ESD) of the samples in different circumstances,such as the vacuum,gap width and the conductivity of the insulators,and so on.The initial ESD voltages of EM space solar arrays are measured with the DC flashover measurement system in the vacuum chamber.Moreover,the conductivities of the materials used in present work are measured with the American Society Test and Material(ASTM) method.A minimum value of the initial voltage of primary ESD will be obtained,when the product of the vacuum pressure and the gap width(p·d) is about 6~8(×10-3 mm·Pa).In addition,the larger the conductivity of the insulator,the smaller the gap width of the minimum initial ESD voltage is.
