冷启动空心阴极结构与关键特性分析

ANALYSIS ON CONFIGURATIONS AND KEY CHARACTERISTICS OF HEATERLESS HOLLOW CATHODE

  • 摘要: 冷启动空心阴极启动速度快、结构简单、可靠性高,是空间用空心阴极发展的重要方向。对比介绍了三种主要的冷启动空心阴极结构及其优缺点。分析了点火特性与工质流率、孔径、电极距离和电源之间的关系,稳态特性与放电电流、工质流率和发射体的材料之间的关系,以及主要的失效机理和相应的改善方法。得到的结论可以为冷启动空心阴极结构、参数的设计和优化提供参考。

     

    Abstract: Heaterless hollow cathode is one of the most important development directions for the onboard hollow cathode for its quick start, simple structure and high reliability. Three different main configurations and their advantages and disadvantages were introduced. The relationship between ignition characteristics and mass flow rate, aperture, electrode distance and power supply, steady state characteristics and discharge current, mass flow rate and emitter material were analyzed. The main failure mechanism and corresponding improvement methods were discussed. The conclusion obtained could provide reference for the design and optimization of the heaterless hollow cathode's configuration and operational parameters.
