Abstract:
After decades of development, performance of pulse tube crycooler has been greatly improved both of the cooling power and the reliability, but most of the researches focus on 80 K temperature region, the performance of PTC in the medium temperature area needs to be further studied. The high frequency is helpful to achieve the miniaturization and lightweight of the pulse tube crycooler. Fine fibrous Polyester was selected as new material filled for regenerator, a linear pulse tube refrigerator driven by a linear compressor is designed in which the operating frequency is 100 Hz. The performance curves under different conditions are tested by setting up an experimental platform. The lowest temperature of 149 K can be obtained under the 150 W electric work, and it can supply a cooling power of 9 W under 170 K cooling temperature.
