LVAT-1 Micropropulsion System and Its Typical Applications for Pico/Nano Satellite

  • 摘要: LVAT-1是兰州空间技术物理研究所研制的第一代真空弧微推力器,具有小体积、低功耗、高比冲和长寿命等特点,主要用于皮/纳卫星微推进控制。介绍了LVAT-1基本结构特点、工作原理、最新研究进展,重点论述了真空弧推力器在皮/纳星轨道机动和无拖曳飞行中的应用,最后指出了LVAT-1空间应用存在的问题,并给出相应建议。

     

    Abstract: LVAT-1 is the first generation Vacuum Arc Thruster developed by Lanzhou Institute of Physics.It can be used for pico/nano satellite micropropulsion control due to its small volume, small power consumption and high specific impulse.The basic structure and operation principle and the latest reach development of LVAT-1 are introduced in this paper.Thus the typical applications of LVAT-1 in orbital maneuvers and in drag-free flight for Cubesat are emphatically described.Finally, the problems in space application and corresponding suggestions for LAVT-1 are given.
