Development and On-orbit Validation of LVAT-1

  • 摘要: 针对微纳卫星无拖曳控制需求,研制了元冲量小于1 μN·s,推力在1~50 μN内可调的LVAT-1微推进系统。介绍了LVAT-1研制过程中的重要试验,PPU设计思路及在轨验证结果。LVAT-1点火期间卫星加速度遥测数据表明:推力器元冲量在0.68~0.83 μN·s范围内,平均为0.74 μN·s,满足小于1 μN·s的设计指标。对LVAT-1的未来发展提出建议。

     

    Abstract: According to the requirements of the drag-free control for micro/nano-satellites,LVAT-1 characterized with the impulse bit of less than 1 μN·s and the adjustable thrust of 1~50 μN has been developed.The critical testing during development and the design scheme of PPU and the on-orbit verification results of LVAT-1 were introduced.The telemetry data of satellite acceleration during igniting of LVAT-1 indicated that the impulse bit is in the range of 0.68~0.83 μN·s,and the average impulse bit was 0.74 μN·s,which was satisfied the design requirements of less than 1 μN·s.Finally,the future development suggestions for LAVT-1 are provided.
