EAST装置加料速率标定及应用

Puffing Rate Calibration and Application on EAST

  • 摘要: 聚变装置中的加料系统在等离子体密度控制和物理实验中起着不可或缺的作用,其中加料速率的精准控制有利于等离子体密度的精准调控,对实验非常重要。EAST装置的加料方式有普通充气和超声分子束注入两种,其中普通充气由压电阀控制,超声分子束由脉冲电磁阀控制。研究发现,普通充气速率与压电阀电压、脉冲宽度呈正相关。在相同的电压下,脉冲宽度越大,充气速率越大,但增幅越小。同样,在相同的脉宽下,压电阀电压越高,即阀门开度越大,充气速率越大,但增大速率变缓。通过控制脉宽与压电阀电压,能够更精确地控制普通充气速率。对超声分子束注入脉冲进气量与加料效率进行标定,发现单次超声分子束注入脉冲的氘(D)原子注入量约为2.9×1017,在欧姆放电条件下的加料效率为7%~15%。在百秒量级一亿摄氏度等离子体放电条件下,计算出总的加料粒子数约为0.9×1022。该研究为等离子体密度反馈控制以及其他物理实验开展提供了数据支持。

     

    Abstract: The puffing system in fusion device plays an indispensable role in plasma density control and physical experiment.Moreover,the accurate control of puffing rate is very important for the experiment.The puffing ways of EAST device includes the ordinary puffing and Supersonic Molecular Beam Injection (SMBI). The ordinary puffing system is controlled by piezoelectric valve and the SMBI is controlled by pulse solenoid valve.It is found that the ordinary puffing rate is positively correlated with the voltage and pulse width of the piezoelectric valve.Under the same voltage,the larger the pulse width,the higher the inflation rate,but the inflation rate increases with the increase of the pulse width.Similarly,under the same pulse width,the higher the piezoelectric valve voltage,that is,the greater the valve opening,the higher the inflation rate,but the inflation rate increases slowly with the increase of voltage.By controlling the pulse width and piezoelectric valve voltage,the injection rate of ordinary puffing can be controlled more accurately.The SMBI pulse gas intake and feeding efficiency were also calibrated.Through the calibration of SMBI rate,it is found that the amount of deuterium atom injected by single SMBI pulse is about 2.9×1017,and the puffing efficiency of SMBI is 7%~15% under the condition of ohm discharge.The total number of feeding particles is calculated to be about 0.9×1022under the condition of 100 second plasma discharge at 100 million degrees Celsius.This study provides data support for plasma density feedback control and other physical experiment.
