Abstract:
Thermoacoustic engine has a very bullish prospect for development at an aspect of being utilized for waste heat with advantages of reliability,environmental protection,capability of utilizing low quality heat source and so on.This article analyzes the inadequacy of traditional heat exchanger applied in thermoacoustic energy for utilizing waste heat and then put forward regenerative heat exchanger made of honeycomb ceramic material.A simple test bench is established,and by experiments in researching its capabilities of thermal conduction and storagei,t is found that the temperature in cold side sustain constantly when hot temperature drops from 409 ℃ to 377 ℃ in 120 secondst,his great thermal storage ability of honeycomb ceramic material is proved.
