Abstract: The pulse tube refrigerator which has many advantages such as simple construction, rellable operation, low cold head vibration, long life and low cost has been rapidly developing in recent years. The paper mainly describes the latest developments of the pulse tube refrigerator and indicates that the research on the pulse tube refrigerator is developing toward the direction of commercility and practice out of laboratorys.
